i quit.

but i wore the dress for 15 days straight.

yesterday i went to the thrift store with my mom and i bought a bunch of wonderful used winter clothes. now i am going to wear them. happily.

i know it’s kind of lame to quit halfway through, but i just don’t really want to wear the dress anymore.

i think there is almost something freeing (for me) in quitting this time around. it’s humbling. the stubborn me would stick this thing out ONLY to impress those who know i’m doing it. but the me who is free to quit - free to choose - free to fail - free to extend myself grace - that me can stop wearing the dress without shame.

well, i’m at least going to try.

with much reluctance i wore the dress today. and to a party tonight.

oh, i did wear it on the 11th. just no picture to prove it.

tired of wearing this damn dress now. i feel like wearing an oversized silk blouse with skinny jeans and boots.
